Call of the Dead is the eighth zombie map in the zombies installation. It was released in the Escalation map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops. This map is set in Siberia, and features a lighthouse and shipwreck. There are four new, real-life playable characters in this map: Sarah Michelle Gellar, Robert Englund, Danny Trejo, and Michael Rooker. Some other unique features include the zipline, flinger, Scavneger, V-R11, and George Romero as a boss zombie. There is also a large easter egg puzzle known as the "Original Characters Trapped."
